Medical Assistant
Our Clinical Medical Assistant program has two simple goals: adapt to your everyday life and help you succeed. An externship is included with your Clinical Medical Assistant program to get hands-on practice, gain valuable knowledge, and apply your training through exposure in the healthcare field. When you become eligible, our team will coordinate to secure all required documentation and work to connect you with one of our participating partner sites.

Students learn about the different coding systems used in medical billing and reimbursement, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.

Students learn how to perform basic clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for diagnostic tests.
Students learn how to perform basic laboratory procedures, including collecting and processing specimens, performing basic lab tests, and interpreting results.
Students learn about the day-to-day operations of a medical office, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
